🧑‍🍳 International food everyone should try.

Don't knock it.. til you try it...
Bruh.

Are you literally asking me if I have tried a dish? That statement ranks along the lines of asking the football forum what a football is made from. Asking basketball guys "what's that white thing hanging from rim?" Asking baseball guys why is there a base line.

Dude. When you eat your dinner in front of a TV...it's isn't an entree. It's an on tray.

My mother grew up picking cotton in Alabama. I grew up in a house where she taught school Don't give me poor.

I probably have 12, maybe 13 lbs of shrimp in my freezer. Because I caught 'em. King Mackerel. Trout. Red Drum. Flounder. Don't get me started here. I caught all of those.

EVERYONE misses this.

When you cook at home you don't miss anything. You just have to take the time.

All offense intended. Sheppard's pie sucks. 🙃

We grew up eating the same 6 or 8 meals pretty much all the time and didn't travel anywhere. My kids have had a different experience. I love trying new food and seeing new places. Nothing wrong with being poor but being complacent....

This is a "no shit" statement. Damn, Kayne...got me on a rant again.

Poutine makes no sense to me. Moussaka just turns my stomach in a bad way.

I'm going to throw another at ya...been thinking about this. Have you Okonomiyaki? I don't use mayo, I use sour cream.

@24and7 this meal is easy. It's just cabbage, eggs, flour, an a few add in's on your choice of meat. (Crab is great!...caught 'em)

I can share the recipe. It's...oh, I don't know...12-14 for the ingreidents in a six course serving.

Offense intended. 🙃 You are eating gruel and bragging about it when you could...for the same amount of money and a little time.

I kinda like poutine if the gravy is good, another good bar food to me. Moussaka is just OK and not something I'd ever order but I'd eat it if it was served at someone's house.
First time trying okonomayaki was in Japan, tried several variations there. Cooked it for the kids and they cook it sometimes now

Had a seafood mix in Japan, was great.
You make me think about a friend from grade school. I think we were having a history about WWII. His father and this was way after the war too. He said, his father told him he was invited to a Japanese family to eat with. He had a bowl place in front of him of rice. He told his son it was good food until he got to the bottom of the bowl, he said two fish eyes were looking back at him.
One more thing is. Thanks you Goggle!!:)

I've eaten fish eyes too. I was eating kishikatsu, everything is skewered and fried, and got a little freaked out. I bit into something round and it kinda popped and had a soft center, thought i was eating a large eyeball but it was only a quail egg.

@Krimson I did this sorta to piss you off...but damn. You got the rice.

Paella Velenciana.

The first time I had it...snails. Socarrat, I think it what they called it....don't hold me to that.

This sorta falls back into the Convo about the "communal snacks dish" at a bar. But, this one works. I'm not a fan of rabbit. It worked in this one.

The spin, the sway, the pirouette is the saffron.

I've tried paella a couple times and wasn't thrilled. I haven't cooked it for myself which i probably should try. Haven't tried it with rabbit though, just seafood. I am a rabbit fan when it's cooked correctly, par fried and simmered in gravy with good biscuits....

Had Korean bbq for lunch and kimchi stew. I really appreciate how the condiments change the flavors with the meat.

And it's the grits I bought 🤣
