🧑‍🍳 International food everyone should try.

You know, this is a process (yes, a small giggle there with conversation on the other forum.)

I warn you. You will be giving away bread unless you guys eat that much. I get picky with this...but, do your thing, not me looking for a specific brand of flour. (Unbleached is the best.)

What kind of scale you use? It matters...but, do your own thing.

1/2 cup of whole wheat flour
1/4 cup of water is where you start.

Like a damn kid, you gotta feed every day. It's cheaper.

I use bread flour, but you can use all purpose. This can be a couple of three days to get started, maybe as many as a week. 1/2 cup of flour each day...1/4 cup of water. 1

EACH DAY! Ya gotta stir it a couple of times a day for the oxygen to get in.

If ya want to get into this I will. Let me know when you are good with day one.
Daughter tried the sourdough thing and we threw away as much or more bread than we ate. You need to eat a lot of bread to mess when it.
 
I'll do empanadas for breakfast from a good Latin joint but yeah not a lot of depth there.

They sucked. In my opinion. But they sold.

I got some strawberries today and started looking at the cream cheese...then thought about this thread. I'm stumbling on what kind of cheese.

Beef Empanadas but the good ones, it's more like pot roast or birria not ground beef. Goes well with a 9:30 beer. Light pastry, kind of like the hot pockets with flavor you mentioned.

Yep.

I weighed this one out in my addled mind. There's a church a bit from here that has one of those food boxes outside. I leave shit there all the time. I fresh loaf of bread...yeah, don't mind it.

I'm finishing a grocery order right now...I'm going to do this. I'll let ya know. I'm pretty sure I'm right on this one.

I got another good one for you. In my opinion.

When you get the mustard out of the fridge...you shake it up, right? That water on the top...you don't want. BUT.

I took some of that 'water' and mixed with Uncle Ken's Strawberry Vinaigrette for a topping/dressing over chicken. Dude. The flavor.
