🏈 Interesting Stat(s) leading in to SEC CG

We all know Mizzou had a little bit weaker schedule this year within the conference. One win really sticks out as far as looking like a domination, at least on the scoreboard. But look closer and remember back to the Florida game, one of the tougher defenses the Tigers faced this season. The score was a dominant 42-14 victory for the Tigers, in the swamp. But look closer. They had 7 first downs. That's right, seven, like the number of days in the week. They had 20 yards passing. Yes, 20. And 99 yards rushing. They averaged 1.1 yards per pass and 1.2 yards per rush. And yes, this was one of their last 6 games, where they are credited with "turning the corner" and "finding themselves", after the Georgia beat down.

Then look at that Georgia game, at Mizzou. They had a whopping 10 first down, 97 yards passing and 50 yards rushing. They threw 7 INT's and had 0 passing TD's in those back to back games.

Just wanted to point out some of their stats versus the tougher defense/teams on their schedule.

Yeah the only reason they beat Florida is Florida had no offense and gave up a fumble recovery TD and a pick 6. Then I think they gave up a punt and kickoff return TD.

Not to mention numerous other turnovers. Florida's defense held them to 149 total yards I believe.

I'm not discounting Mizzou, just not giving them too much credit. Anything can happen after all.

**Edit - Meant to type 3.2 yards per rush against Florida. Sorry. Wouldn't let me edit after I posted.

But yeah inGA, 119 total yards against Florida. But had a punt return, KO return, INT return and fumble return for TDs. You're spot on.
