🏈 Injury updates?

Obviously Wilson, Lewis and Miller were already back as they played in IB. They should be getting closer and closer to getting back to form with each day. Seeing as Miller & Lewis had upper body injuries, I would expect strength was what was missed the most vs Aubarn rather than endurance. 3+ weeks of being able to lift without limitations? should help them greatly. I expect Wilson's 2-3 week layoff didn't set him back from strength and conditioning, but he looked to be a step or two slower than his self. Hopefully he gets that back because Clemson's offense has plenty of speed/athletes to keep up with. Saban mentioned last week that Ray likely unable to participate until after Christmas so I wouldn't expect him to play much of a roll in the DL rotation vs Clemson. Obviously Hamilton not returning and Hootie is also out. Hand has been back since LSU, but he hasn't been the same since returning. If he can make some significant progress that would be huge for the DL. I saw him limping pretty bad vs Mercer at times. Pierschbacher should be back from ankle sprain. I'm sure there were others nicked up that will feel better after resting up but I think these are the injured players of note.

I have heard that Dec. 15 was the targeted date to return to practice? I guess we are healing, lifting, conditioning and watching film up until then??

EDIT-reading comments on Tweet from Cole Cubelic about his ALL SEC OL that Bozeman has been battling shoulder injury since TAMU. First I've heard of it. Not sure if this is something that Time can heal or if he needs off season surgery to get better.

This is Dead Week on campus and exams start on the 11th. I'm sure there is a little studying going on.

I thought Hootie partially tore his MCL? He could def. be back by the playoff if thats the case.

I realize things change (like Lewis & Miller out for season), but Saban has declared Jones will be out for CFB playoff vs Clemson and I would say that would mean he is also HIGHLY unlikely to be available 1 week later.

I am still recovering from my rotator cuff injury suffered during the Iron Bowl. Guess I threw that remote just a touch too hard. I am rehabbing and am expected to be 100% by January 1st! The remote was a total loss and thus ends his career.

My liver has been in a boot since IB but I expect it to be ready to go Jan 1. It won't be 100%, but it hasn't been since my mid 20's.

My remote suffered the same ending at my house. Not getting a new one until after football season. It will be like my NC trophy.

I believe you are right on Ingram Bird, but, as bad as it is for Hootie, I don't think we've had a safety that can cover the pass and stop the run as well as Thompson can in several years. I'm really excited for this young man. I talk to his father quite often, and he has really worked hard for this opportunity since his arrival at the Capstone.

Okay, but I think you need to temper expectations based on the word of a father... Lets be real. I've liked what I've seen from him in limited action but if Thompson was that head and shoulders above Hootie, he would have been playing. I hope he balls out and ends up being an All American but I'm not going to think he's about to go out there in his first start and look like an All America, because his daddy thinks he's amazing. Get what I mean?
