šŸˆ Ingram haters

just to fill in bama nation since early this morning i have been going at it with bloggers on espn.com and i am ashamed atthe way people are acting . everyone acts like ingram aint nothing aint done nothing all they do is wine about how this person and that person got screwed and it dosnt matter what stats u show them compared to the person they think should have won . to them in no way shape or form does mark ingram deserve the H T .i cant help but fire back because he doesnt deservr to be talked about like that . they act like he made them give him the heisman at gunpoint.. i will not let that stand

I really don't get the Gerhart love fest by the barners and others. He is a decent RB, but played against some really bad defenses. He had 82 yards rushing in a loss to Wake Forest. Wake was gashed all season on the ground, with multiple 100+ yard runners against them. I am not saying that Gerhart is not a good back, but Ingram was not alone in having a poor game. Wake Forest's run defense is ranked lower than Auburn's, and I doubt that their whole defensive game plan revolved around stopping Gerhart.

News flash for the haters...Ingram had more yards from scrimmage this season than Bo had in 1985.

I was around for the Coach Bryant years (born '61) and I can remember the fear and hate. It feels wonderful to feel it once again.

Roll Freakin' Tide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive actually seen some of the 'bloggers'. One of the main things they complain about is how much better Gerhart's numbers (stats) are. Because 90% of these 'bloggers' no absolutely nothing about football other than the stats they read and regurgitating back what ESPN told them and never played themselves a down. They dont look at games like South Carolina where Ingram put the team on his back on the last drive or in the 2nd half of LSU where he took the game over. Not only that but let's actually look at their numbers, remember this is an award that goes to the best PLAYER not the best Running Back...

Mark Ingram: 249 carries, 1,542 yards, 6.2 YPC, 15 TD; 30 catches, 322 yards, 10.7 YPC, 3 TD
TOTAL TOUCHES: 279 touches, 1,864 yards, 6.7 YPT, 18 TD

Toby Gerhart: 311 carries, 1,775 yards, 5.6 YPC, 26 TD; 10 catches, 149 yards, 14.9 YPC, 0 TD
TOTAL TOUCHES: 321 touches, 1,924 yards, 6.0 YPT, 26 TD

He has a WHOPPING 60 more yards on 42 MORE touches. The only thing he has on Ingram is 8 more TD. Add the fact that there is another EXTREMELY talented RB in the backfield with Ingram taking touches away from him there shouldn't be this backlash for Ingram winning it. Its just ridiculous.

That's easy, they were pulling for who they thought was the only person that had a chance to beat Ingram for the Heisman, plain and simple. I've read all their post from other forums and they're all the same. Talking about Gerhart was the better player and how CJ Spiller was robbed, blah blah blah.

All this success Bama is enjoying now is slowly killing the barners deep inside, and I'm loving it!!! The final blow could come as soon as Jan. 7th!
