Okay folks, I've finally have gotten around to setting up our Yahoo fantasy NASCAR league.

Everyone is welcomed to sign up and the league is FREE.

Here's the information you'll need to join:

Once on the fantasy sports home page, click on the Fantasy Auto Racing icon where it says, "Sign Up Now."

Create your race team name and then look for icon or instruction to join "private group."

One there you will need the following information:

Daytona is fast approaching, so go ahead and get signed up.

Okay, only a couple days to sign up before Daytona.

Right now we have a field of 20 race teams. Last season was probably the most competitive year I've witnessed with the Championship up for grabs until the very last race. Not very many points separated the first five or six teams, either.

For those of you who may not have played in a couple years, the NASCAR season is now divided into "Spring, Summer, & Fall" runs where seasonal point totals determine position. Then there is the overal Championship where point totals for the entire season determine the winner.

I like this format because if someone has a bad Spring, they can come back be in the thick of things the next Summer run. The format encourages teams to play the entire season.

For those signed up, be sure that you have your driver lineups set before the deadline. Don't be pulling a CECIL on us. :lol:

BTW, Porter & Treybo, you better be at your best this year!

That was the most competitive? What the hell is the least competitive. Is that when somebody takes over the points lead around the halfway point of the season and never relinquishes it....Oh wait thats most competitive. Never mind. I guess yall just took it easy on the rookie, though. In all seriousness this should be tougher this season. A bunch of me B-listers moved up so I can't use them as much. Yall keep taking it easy on me. It's only my second season.
