Can't believe they are not scheduling each other. Liberty has 8 games scheduled, Army has 5, and BYU 4. ND has yet to schedule the OOC game.

ND , Army, and BYU all have 9/19 open. Liberty could schedule both Army and BYU. And Army and BYU could schedule H/H. Liberty and New Mexico State did that last year. Those games would give Liberty 10, Army 8 (9 w/ ND), and BYU 7 (8 w/ ND)

I was listening to a radio show the other day and they said that nd and Navy were trying to work out details for a game.

I don't see any way of that happening. Unlike the SEC, the ACC and AAC have already announced dates for their schedules. It would take a complete reshuffle of one or both of those conference's schedules to schedule that game.

ND never should have dropped Navy. Stupid for them to opt for Western Michigan as their OOC game. It wasn't like they were going to play WMU in front of a sold out home crowd. The Navy game had been moved from Dublin to Annapolis. This would have been the perfect season for ND to play at Navy for the first time EVER.

Edit: On closer look, ND is probably attempting to move the Duke game to 9/5 and schedule Navy on 9/12. And this would be the perfect season for Navy to schedule the game on an aircraft carrier. I have been advocating that since 2012 when Navy scheduled the game in Dublin and the media gave ND all the credit. I don't believe ND would get credit for an aircraft carrier.
