I cleaned up before I started work. Basically I took a bath in the big-ass sinks (didn't get IN the sink, but used the sprayer to get clean)....and my first thought is one of empathy for those coming into work that morning wondering why the pizza joint smelled like a brewery.
Believe it or not, we were poised to get a new Pasquale's in Pell City but they had a falling out with the landlord, had the sign up and everything. They say they're looking for another spot to open, hope they find one. This thread has made me hungry for their buffet... I'll just have to enjoy the memories however... I actually liked the old Godfathers buffet better, but it was more regional. The Pizza Hut in Northport is vacant... just sitting there like some post apocalyptic restaurant in a world inhabited by nothing but roaches and auburn fans. Saw a news blip that CiCi's here in town is having a re-grand opening... but I'll pass on that one. I'll be eating some pizza from TuscNY tonight during the Bama basketball game... that shit is good. Best pizza in town behind Broadway.

The place where the Pizza Hut (dine-in) used to be, here, is now a Purple Onion. I like that place, but it's no old-school Pizza Hut.This thread has made me hungry for their buffet... Preferred Godfather's as well. This thread has made me hungry for their buffet... I'll just have to enjoy the memories however... Never heard of The Purple Onion or Hooligans?I've had Purple Onion a couple of times... it's not bad. Very similar to Hooligans in Tuscaloosa.

I looked it up the other day just to see if there were any in the area. I know of the old closed down, red-tiled roof building. I didn't know there were two more around me: one just a couple of miles away.Pizza huts here all gone.
Guess they don't need the visibility when most order from an app which, I'm assuming, tells you where to go pick it up.I looked it up the other day just to see if there were any in the area. There's no way I would have noticed the locations unless I was looking directly at their signage. It's as bad as the new look Taco Bell's in the area, or the new look McDonalds. If you don't see the signs you don't have a clue they are there.
That's likely. It doesn't work with the Taco Bell's in that area.Guess they don't need the visibility when most order from an app which, I'm assuming, tells you where to go pick it up.
