🏈 In praise of the unsung heroes on our D-Line

While our LBs and DBs continue to have accolades heaped on them - and deservedly so - I just want to give some major props to the unsung heroes on our D-Line who, with no Mount Cody glamour among them, have been quietly performing at exceptionally effective levels all season. They are doing their jobs and then some, which is to say that they are; occupying two blockers, getting penetration, and making plays in the backfield. Josh is a beast and due to his strength is holding down multiple blockers regularly. Jesse is getting better each game and is now a serious force from a strength and speed standpoint. Nick Gentry amazes me each game the plays he has been making getting into the backfield and pressuring QBs. Dial , Square, Stinson, Ivory and Billingsly are all strong and solid as well. And I think Pagan is a future star.

Just wanted to give these guys some props, since they tend to fly under the radar with all the stars among the LBs and DBs.

I agree the d line is really stepping up and playing good football right now. Everyone knows about our LB's and DB's but the DL has been very solid against the run. I am still somewhat concerned about the short passing game over the middle against our defense. IMO, we give up too many easy passes.
