Leigh Tiffin is stepping down as president of Tiffin Motor Homes.


I wonder what opportunity arose that made him jump ship? I'm sure he will always have a soft spot to land back at the "family business". Makes me wonder if he is going to be a special teams or kicking coach somewhere? Pure speculation at this point.

I remember Dabo was out of coaching when Tommy Bowden called and ask him to come to Clemson. He was doing really well selling commercial real estate and wrestled a little bit with the decision of whether or not to take the job. I think it worked out well for him.

I read the other day that he's gonna be working for some national motorhome company now, I don't recall the name.

They sold out to Thor several years ago for $300 million, but the family kept working there. I wonder if they've completed any non-compete agreements and are now free to do what they want in the industry.

Now that I've read the article, it was 2000 when Thor took them. Complaints on the quality of Tiffin products have vaulted since the acquisition, which isn't surprising given Thor's reputation.
