Which included three monitor reviews in a span of about 16 seconds alone. Imagine being at home in a tight ball game, like Minnesota was last night, and having the play stopped so many times in the last minute which essentially takes the one thing home court gives you, the fans, out of the game.
These reviews and replays need to just go, in my view. I'd settle for at least a time limit to review the call.
It's reached the point I'm inclined to watch the game replay (DVR or the like) and skip through the reviews much like I do TV shows and commercials.
Is it too much to ask for a standard that each review can only last 30 seconds? I realize having something timed, by a clock or official, in the game of basketball might seem out of the ordinary.
