might be difficult to top that first year with osu and oregon. it being the first year of the cfp drew a LOT of viewers since it was new.

it'll take a team that's never been in (or maybe both teams) to get better ratings than that first year.

Yes, it's only one. There's a device that Nielsen gives panelists that allows them to check in from "out of home" viewing places. They just started tracking that data a little over a year ago.
