💬 "I'm with Jon Allen, I don't get why Deshaun Watson isn't being hailed as a potential top pick "

I would disagree that Watson is "a lot smarter" than RG3, Vince or Russell. He doesn't seem all that intelligent to me, based on hearing him talk and some of his actions. And I wonder if these folks that see him as a first rounder are looking at our game or the rest of the season. He put up his second most yards against us, and it wasn't really even close. Only game he had more rushing+passing yards was that Pitt game where they have 1 million possessions and he threw 72 times. He had some really rough games; Auburn, Troy, Louisville (had 3 INTs). Heck, he had 3 INTs in the Pitt game they lost, even though he threw for so many yards. Had 2 INTs at FSU that should have cost them the game. He lit us up, but he didn't play like that all year, And I'm not convinced he's the smartest tool in the shed. His recent actions in T-town help solidify my opinion there...

Throwing interceptions doesn't make you any less intelligent. He navigated our ass better than anyone has, twice! Russell and Young are dumb as a box of rocks, so it takes an effort to be on their level.

Young's Wonderlic was what, a 4? Yep, sack of hammers.

If I were a NFL GM (then I'd be a sack of hammers, too) and needed a QB, but not a starting QB, I'd be willing to gamble on Watson as a mid-round pick. He's not a player to whom I'd want to give first or second-round money.

He will be nowhere to be found mid round. The closer the draft gets the more you start to see true convictions from misinformation that gets sent out there like a laser light show.

Some QB's who have given us trouble in the last 10 years, Cam, Manziel, Manziel, Trevor Knight, Cardale Jones, Chad Kelly, Chad Kelly, Watson, and Watson. Cam stands out from this list based on his sheer physical attributes. He's one big son of a gun who is also mobile (much more mobile that Cardale). The rest I don't see as being big threats in the League. But as I stated, this is purely my opinion. We all have one.
