🏈 I'm just gonna say, I wish the TV folks wouldn't show injuries like they do

Glad to see him making the best of it and reflecting on the positives. Some folks could get really down.

When I was 12, I was a Junior Olympic butterfly swimmer, and I tore a major muscle in my shoulder right before a tri-state invitational time trial meet. It was literally the worst I ever felt (not from the pain, just from being unable to swim and participate and represent my team), and it took me almost a year before I could swim in races again. Took lots of rehab. But most of all it takes a positive attitude. For the first few weeks, I was mope-y and depressed because it was a huge loss to my athletic career, but I wish I had not wasted that time being so negative .. It will only hinder your progress. I'm very happy to see Ware taking this in stride. More athletes (and people in general) should look to him as a way to handle such a loss/setback.
