Right now Fox is driving the narrative for Jalen and ESPN is also pumping the story. Let’s see what happens in a couple weeks once Tua and Jalen start playing tougher competition that’s when we will see a change in voting

It's not a lot different from last year when we were discussing the Heisman race. I held nothing against Kyler but I have to admit I was disappointed we didn't see more people talk about how wide open his receivers were when they were lauding his passing accuracy. Sometimes it's just that hard to miss a guy especially when he's wide open.

We saw Jalen's progressions/reads improve dramatically last year. That's nothing new to those who followed him. But, again, lauded this season as if it's something new. He's having a hell of a year and I'm glad for him ... but is it too much to think we'd get someone pointing out how ridiculously open his guys are?

And, as you can see, this is a pass we've seen him complete routinely since he's been here.

You'll see what I'm referring to in the following video clip. But before that ... just glance at the capture. He's not covered underneath and we're looking at at least a seven yard cushion over the top in this picture.

I have seen nothing to prove he has improved...if his primary is covered running, sack or int I'd his 2nd option

I have to give Jalen credit, he is having a great year. I still think that his reads are too slow. Against an top college defense (not to mention the NFL), they will eat him alive. He is a fine young man. I still do not think is starting QB material in the NFL. Perhaps he should change position to receiver..

That’s the only way he can hit them cleanly. If it was tight coverage he couldn’t do it. There’s s reason he was the backup!
