after the mediocre performance of the first half and then the stout performance of the second half and the , let's just say it, poor performance of the o line all game, I AM NOT GOING TO CALL FOR A BEAT DOWN IN THE SECCG just a good solid win will do. I honestly thought, before the game, that there would be a beat down. Maybe there should have been but there wasn't. I guess Coach Firentz? said it best, with football, winning is having 1 point more than the other team. Not exactly how he said it and he is in the big 10 or what ever it is now, but I think he's got it right. So let's go to Atlanta and win the SEC and then take the national championship. I get the feeling nothing less will do for this team. I sure hope so.

Everyone think Bama was going to walk in and beat the carp out of them. I was one of those guy. But we did win the game one point or 50 point we won. Just because Bama is favorite to win the game come up next weekend. UF still has a good defense it just didn't show up last game. I think it was most because it was the Iron Bowl and all that it had on it too.

Coach Mac will give us a fight. He had his guys ready when he came with CSU and I expect the same in Atlanta. Difference is he's not going to sneak up on us this time.

A little hyperbole here? Maybe?

Their offensive production/points came from two field goals in the third quarter. Not a lot to look at there ... but again, it's CSU.
It's important to remember Bama played without Coop and Norwood that game on offense along with Steen on the line. (A few defensive players missed the game as well.)

Most importantly: Look at how many guys we had in '13 that had been recruited, and coached, by Coach Mac. Take AJ for one example: those to were close.

It's hard, for any team, to "beat another into submission" when there's so many personal relationships on the other sideline. Yet, in the fourth, they put the game away.

Good points. I had forgotten about the other factors in that game.

As its been said ad nausea um, the Bama Barn game will always be a tough battle. I would never call a beat down in this rivalry.

I just hope that Cokers accuracy improves. He continues to be a tad late on delivery and in this past game behind most receivers. His slow release to the wide out passes take forever comparatively.

I thought our guys looked like they were too comfortable coming into the game. Listened to all of the media crap. It turned out that Henry came to play and the rest was like watching a pillow fight. I did enjoy the radio broadcast whining about the penalties. You're team is in the crapper when you are begging the refs for holding calls.
