🏈 I'll go ahead and say it now, "I'm not real worried about LSU."

Our offense is anemic. Our play calling isn't my favorite. Our talent isn't being utilized in certain areas. Our D has shown some give lately. Our kickoff coverages are still a concern. Our returns are becoming less productive for various reasons. Our QB can't seem to get in a rhythm. All this, and some of you aren't concerned? :headscratch:

We have got to get back to playing confident and playing our style of football. If not, I think the days of escape will soon come to an end, and there will be no one more upset than me.

I'm not worried about LSU. The issue we need to deal woth are related to our team, not theirs. If we get the offense back in sync we will be just fine. If we don't there will come a time when the defense and Tiffin won't be able to bail us out. It is us getting things fixed that concerns me. If we do that we'll win with some degree of comfort. If we don't, we'll have another nail biter.

The only team (outside of possibly Florida) that can beat Alabama...is Alabama.
Our lack of offense is the best DEFENSE we'll see this season!

For as close as the UT game was, it was equally as close to being a 2-3 TD victory. The Alabama offense (or lack of) is the reason Tenn almost won. The playcalling is the funniest joke of October!

We need to learn the following truth:

Endzone=TOUCHDOWN
10 Yard Line=DOES NOT EQUAL TOUCHDOWN

Well...

I am worried and you should be too. LSUWHO is loaded with talent. Check out their recent recruiting - they haven't really had a drop off in bringing in talent since CNS left. In fact, you could make an argument that they are recruiting at an all-time high. I realize that usually talent alone will not will you championships, but in LSUWHO's case with the mad hatter as coach you could make an exception. The mad hatter's inferior complex to CNS is so obvious that he is liable to bench Jordan Jefferson and put in their stud Russell Shepard to start the game just to mix things up.

And hell, Miss State is scaring me as well. LSU barely got past them in Starkville. That game could be hard for us to win whether you want to hear it or not.

Our receivers are being played in coverage that in as tight as you can play. Look at the games where we have struggled, take Tennessee, our receivers including Julio had zero seperation from the defenders thus resulting in a lot of balls that were not dropped but rather batted away. Spurrier's great teams at Florida like the 1996 team seemed to be wide open most of the time running disciplined routes and being quick. We must learn to do this if we are going to get the passing game back open and play to our potential.

I agree...but some will say it's because we went up against some good defenses as of late....I know it's not as fast as game speed but they go up against or D everyday in practice...and we are supposed to be the best D...right?
