🏈 If you’re going to come back and improve your draft stock, you attack the off-season like B-Rob 👀

I always see these kind of things and wonder why hasn't he been doing this before now? Maybe he has and we are just now hearing about it. He better do this because I am pretty sure there are some talented players waiting in the wing to take his spot.

One more chance, knowing it's his time finally, new training could finally work in his favor, could be a number of things.

So it takes external factors to push him to be the best he can be? As I was typing I am reminded that it is not human nature to do so. There are those few rare individuals that are driven to be the best they can be everyday.

External factors or what motivate just about everyone. Jeff Bezos start Amazon for his love of books or to make money? Sometimes it takes time for it all to just click. Look at Mac and Joe Burrow. I don't think they internally just didn't want it, I just think they waited their time and maximized it. Hell, sometimes you're just not better than tbe guy in front of you. How many guys would have dethroned Najee this past Fall? I know you have also seen the graphs on the team as a whole getting faster and stronger through the season. I wouldn't call that an awakening or it just clicked. It was the training curriculum and it has everyone doing well.

Maybe the new S&C approach is the real difference. Seemed to last year. The speed Bama showed and how they got better as the year went on compared to other teams was noticeable.

We should really see if that is the reason this year. Two offseasons with the program. Knee injuries were down last year if we want to attribute it to that as quick as it would have taken effect.

Just as another perspective let's look at what he's been seeing.

In '18 the depth chart ran Damien, Najee, Brian. In '19, Najee, Brian. In '20? Najee.

"It's my time." If he's looking at '21 in that view, is that an "external factor?" I guess. 🤷‍♂️ In another thread we'd call that "biding his time," like we saw with Mac last season, right?

Keilan opted out.
My breakout guy of '21.

Wilk Keilan get a ring? Pretty sure he was on the team and went against numbers, but curious if you give an opt out a ring. Be curious to know how that works.
I bet they do. Everyone gets a trophy now:). In all reality these days are odd times so would have been hard to predict although the fact that only one opted out was good for the team for sure. I bet he had some regrets as the year went along.
