Both these teams are pretty damn good. As was Texas. As was UGA.

But I think we can honestly say these teams are not as powerful on both sides of the ball as most Championship teams we have seen. Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, and even LSU have boasted solod defenses and powerful offenses. Michigan lacks an explosive offense and Washington's defense can struggle.

That's fair. It's fair to still say Bama and UGA are better overall, even this season. Both team just had a smaller margin of error in the post season. All 5 teams are well coached, talented, and extremely skilled at certain positions. It was about as an evenly packed playoff as we could ever see, even if the 4 team format lived for many more years.
