hmm. I kinda thought she was fighting for something versus whining. Maybe she should have done a better job on stage when she had her opportunity, but I didn't see her as whining. She almost made it top 24, why not fight? Years from now, she will not regret that she didn't at least give it a final shot.

I'd buy into the "fighting for it" notion, if she had an argument more substantial than, "c'mon guys, I can really do this," But she didn't. She lost.
Just like Texas. Yes, yes, I know. Colt McCoy got hurt. Accept defeat and move on.

I see your point too, don't get me wrong. Just saying that I don't see anything wrong with her fighting one last time...no matter what the reason. I'm I firm believer in the worst they can say is "no".

It's a sound philosophy. You share it with my wife. It's the basis for many differences of opinion around our house. I should probably listen to her more.

I remember back in San Diego, right after my wife and I got married, we were young 21 (me) & 19. A lady at a cafe we went to every Saturday in Coronado told me if I wanted my marriage to be successful, I would learn these 4 words - "Honey, I was wrong". I'm still not very good with those words
