🏈 If you are Coach Saban, do you feed Ingram the ball the next 2?

I'm watching ESPN this morning and they are claiming that Mack Brown let Colt McCoy throw deep more than usual yesterday to try and help him win the Heisman. Do you think Coach Saban should do the same thing against Miss St and Chattanooga and feed the ball to Ingram a little more since niether team has a great run defense? I know I do this when I'm playing video games, but is it too big of a risk? I personally would not change the play calling, but I might use Richardson a little less as long as Ingram is healthy.

Hell, I was wondering if Saban was gonna give 22 the ball yesterday! OUr play calling was agAin very suspect. Im not sure how many carries Ingram had in the first half but it couldnt have been very many at all.:swear:

I suspect Ingram will get plenty of touches next week at MSU. Im afraid this game is gonna be much tougher than expected!

Against Chattanooga? Nah

That Chattanooga game is at a perfect position in our schedule. We'll be able to experiment a little more with our depth, and hopefully win big enough to give Star Jackson some play time.

I see Ingram getting 12-15 carries.

Huh? Did you watch the 2nd half?

He had 22 carries in the game.

Yeah, I did watch the 2nd half. I watched 22 run up and down the field. All the more reason to:headscratch: as to why the heck we werent giving him the ball the first half.

I saw an LSU team stacking the box with eight and nine in the first half. We threw, and threw, and threw.

As the game progessed, that number dropped to seven, then at times six.

If it wasn't for the approach in the first half, I don't think we'd see the results in the second.

LSU wanted Greg to prove himself in the first half passing. He did in the point he loosened up that defense quite a bit. In fact, it's an accurate statement to say we wore them out in that first half.

Nicely called game IMO.

I feel for you. I was wondeing the same thing.......According to Saban, he indicated in his press conference they planned it that way. They wanted to throw a lot in the 1st half, stretch the field, and save the RB's.

Then come out in the second half and wear them out running in the 2nd half......Now, I can't say I like that plan or that they followed it at the proper times, but Saban seemed to indicate that was the plan.

As far as giving Ingram the ball more for the heisman, I don't think we should, nor do we need to. If we would just give it to him more and when we need to, the yards will take care of themselves.
