control their running game i think we shut lsu out.
there qbs not that good. I think the running game wins
this one for us. POUND POUND POUND THE LINE. If they got to pass to catch up we should eat um up.

Outside of the obvious turnover battles and all that fun stuff this is absolutely the number one key. For the most part on here it seems as if it wont be any problem at all. Im just sayin, its not going to be as easy as you think... :)

There is (obviously) no way LSU gets shut out. The team has terrible QB play, but he can make plays too, he is just inconsistent. LSU has an explosive offense though it too often bites the team in the butt -- but moving the ball isnt a problem.

I think they're a little better than you're giving them credit for. LSU has weapons on special teams that could come into play, not to mention that all Lee has to do is complete a pass or two and anything can happen from there.

While I agree that LSU is having QB issues, Lee is more than capable of making a play to one of those speedy WR's if BAMA makes a mistake or blows a coverage, and that happens.

I think we'll win, but a lot of it depends on us playing solid defense and protecting our QB. If we can do that, I think we'll win by a couple of scores.

i have seen Lee make some unbelievable throws in the clutch this year. i think there is some wholesale underestimation of LSU on this board.

i think we'll win, but not by any blowout margin.

Your right and i can assure you we wont shut them out either.

Control the line which leads to:
---BAMA running the ball enough to open the pass when needed,
---BAMA stopping them from running, particularly outside,
---BAMA pressuring their QB when he even thinks of the work pass,
---BAMA eating up the clock.

Control turnovers which:
---will magnifies the impact/significants of point placed on the board,
---may be the biggest contributing factor to momentum (a couple of interceptions in the first half could turn this into a route either way).

Control penalties which:
---will kill or keep drives alive,
---serve as a barometer of how the individual battles are fairing.

I'm gonna take the Corso approach in saying this.. now stay with me ok...

I think that we have a VERY good chance to win this game as long as we can figure out a way to score more points. That should do it.

Do what we have done in all the games(although not always for 4 quarters, but they seem to be getting a grasp of the concept), control the clock and play solid D.

Keep LSU's offense off the field as much as possible and wear their D out.

I hope their offense is on the field long enough for the defense to score twice :)

I'm not sure if we'll completely stop LSU's running game, but I'm 100% sure we'll slow it down and make it less effective. Rest assure Coach Saban wants to put the game on Lee's shoulders...

I think we must control the line of scrimmage on both sides. We need to rush for at least 150 yds and JPW needs to throw for around 200 yds. Defensively keep everything in front of us and tackle like gangbusters.

There's only two concerns for Factor:

1. Our OL on pass protection

2. Our punt protection and the time it's been taking to get some punts off. We've been living dangerously in this department lately.

Other than that, Les(s) better have a lot of tricks under that hat of his, 'cause nothin' else is gonna work for the Swamp Kitties.

I gua-ran-flat-tee you.
