🏈 I will get flamed for this ......

I'm a JH's fan but his decision making is slow and he locks in on his primary receiver and he takes loses when he could throw it away. Tua makes much faster decisions and is very accurate and has a quicker release. Giving the ball to the receiver in stride so he can run after the caught is huge. Deep down I believe CNS already knows it.

Hurts looks for receiver to have 5 yds on DB before he throws. He has no clue how to throw a receiver open.

Tua is great at that. If he can improve other aspects of his game he will be good one.

saban knows it but Tua has his deficiencies too plus the OL woes almost made it compulsory to ride with Hurts similar to when he tried to start Cooper Bateman in the Ole Miss game.

It seemed like when the pressure wasn’t forcing the QB to scramble the other 70% of the play calls were QB runs , knowing they were keying on the run ....

Frustrating performance.

We need help now to make the playoffs for sure.

No flame here! I agree 100%. I will take it a step farther and say its time to replace Brain Daboll at offensive coordinator if he is unwilling to adapt to the college game. His offensive scheme is not suited for college football. Saban runs the risk of losing 2 years of very talented players if Hurts remains at QB.

Jalen has really poor field vision and, as others have stated, locks onto receivers. But there are other issues as well. It seems we were running the ball fairly well most of the time, but why Bo on that sweep for the failed third down and not Jacobs or Damien. And why can't we have some 5-7 yard routes in the tree - some tempo plays with a quick release. Ugh!!! It is what it is. So frustrating.

If you put this loss on Jalen Hurts, you're about as clueless as possible. Jalen will be the starter, period. I am so beyond sick of this bullshit overreaction anytime he has a less than SUPER game.

Less than SUPER game.... we finally agree. I would even say less than DECENT game.

Reckon all the Hurts salad tossers are working on trying to figure out rebuttals? JH is a great leader and a 1st class kid, but I would have preferred a good passer tonight.

Just gets old hearing the stupid bullshit on the topic. You take a small sample size of Tua and hold it against Hurts' and you act like Tua has accomplished some monumnetal feat, is a seasoned passer and commander of the offense. Sure, he has looked good, but he's also not been in the fire at all. Hurts has proven he can make plays. Sacked twice and nine hurries has nothing to do with his progressions, it has to do with his offensive line breaking down. Hurts can't force Robert Foster to run a three yard route on 4th down instead of two when the defense is bearing down on him. Hurts can't force a defensive back to not hold Ridley when Ridley has beat them, and only 15 yards come of a potential 40-50 yard pass. In the end, it's just too easy for you to point fingers rather than allow him to work. Instead of bitching about progressions, take a look and see if the line has allowed him to progress. Salad tossers, I don't think so. You just sound like a fucking tool for throwing your team under the bus when they lose. A kindergardener could blame the same talking points you bring up every time with Hurts, it takes actual research and knowledge to look at the whole picture.

Dont even bother to respond to that idiot. Every single week that moron has screamed "Tua time" any time Jalen so much as throws an incompletion. Had Tua came in and played poorly he would have whined like the little bitch he is about that, too.

Stop reading it. He was garbage tonight. Period. The loss was on the entire organization. Out coached and out played.

The entire team played like shit but for some reason certain people feel the need to lay the blame at one person.

Just giving the D a different look.. Some different energy... And some plays designed for a lefty would be helpful.

Had to admit it but Auburn's offensive scheme uses strengths of their players so much better than ours... Tua is talented. Jalen is talented. Using both would make us better... Especially when the O is in a rut like tonight (couldn't have gotten much uglier)
