🧑‍🤝‍🧑 / 🏡 I went to the store yesterday morning around 4ish in the AM...doors were locked. 7-11, right?

So, I waited for a few minutes on the picnic tables outside. No big deal. It was on the tail end of my morning ride. After 15 minutes, and the store remaining closed, I moved on and decided I'd make coffee instead of "borrow" it.

Come to find out when I went back up there around nine they were "almost robbed." My question was, "what?" I mean, I was there around that time. But, more importantly, how are you "almost" robbed? You are, or you aren't.

I'm told a gun was pulled but then they ran. I'm told they wanted cigarettes but not money. I'm told they wanted the cigs from the back.

So, I asked...what does that mean? No answer from the manager. A few hours ago I asked the assistant manager the same thing and he shut up like a clam...pointing to a microphone at 3 am that someone might be listening to?

I told the manager yesterday their stories didn't make sense. They still don't.

🎶 "Life in a southern town...oh hey, um..." 🎶

Thankfully, you were not "almost" in the situation.
Oh. This is true. I was already in a sour mood and always carry when I bike. You are trying to rob the store I shop in...when I know all the people who work there?

Kid you not...went in a few hours ago and grabbed a cup of coffee. I told the MGR I'd pay for it later because her line was too long. She said, "Thanks, Mr. Terry." (Two bucks for a small coffee is ridiculous, BTW.)
