šŸ’¬ I really thought that the Notre Dame vs Michigan ratings would come back as one of the biggest draws for viewers this year...

...when when we see the rankings for the top 50 come out at the end of the year.

I see NBC is touting a guesstimated 4.1 rating for last nights game and promoting the fact it ranks as the best home opener on NBC in 12 years & highest college football overnight of the day. The last part I suspected. It only makes sense with their national draw.

However, before I go any farther with this...

A 4.1 rating equals, roughly, five and a half to six and a half million viewers. It's a good number...except when it's compared to other openers like last year's game between Bama and FSU which drew an estimated 12.6 million viewers.

Not sure how ratings work... But the Bama QB story was such a national draw that it probably stole a lot of viewers after they got going. Plus it's just boring football... lol

Here's one for ya - Heard a stat today. As of next week it will be a calendar year since a Michigan WR has caught a touchdown. LOL
