People say Alabama hasn't played anyone because Michigan and Arkansas haven't lived up to the hype. But when you mention Michigan was top 10 and Ole Miss was top 20 they say it doesn't matter how they are ranked when they played the game.

Then they go on to talk about how great team X is because they beat two ranked teams, at the time they played the game. :headscratch:

Wait I'm confused.

I don't care that people have said that we have played a weak schedule....Its the way people are saying that they somehow make Alabama into this overrated weak team that will be in for a "rude awakening" when they get into the meat of their schedule :shake:

Of course the main fan base saying that is LSU....with a few Aubs, but they're an exception :biggrin_blue:

Most of the reason Michigan, Arkansas and Ole Miss are no longer highly ranked is because Alabama destroyed them. On top of that, when you get decimated and dominated by a team as great as Alabama it takes weeks and weeks to recover and play up to your potential again. You lose your Mojo...

Michigan, Arkansas and Ole Miss are all now playing better with Alabama in their rearview mirror...

Bingo!

With Michigan a part of that tough schedule that Notre Dame has played...

^^This is my biggest beef. People are quick to say that Michigan was a good win for Notre Dame, but it's supposed to be a weak opponent for us.

The fact of the matter is, we really haven't played that tough of a schedule. BUT, we've handled our schedule like we're supposed to handle it. Hell, the toughest team we've played so far was Ole Miss. There's no doubt that our toughest games are ahead of us, but that fact doesn't in any way make other teams any better than they actually are.
