🏈 I know its getting time to focus on A&M, but...

did anyone else think the LSU OL got away with excessive holding particularly on running plays, but also several passing plays? I haven't heard any significant criticism about this, so I was just wondering if it was just me.

I did see a few, particularly early in the game when we were generating some pressure...I also saw Warmack get away with one too though when Christian Jones got a key first down

Refs have never been good in Alabama/LSU games

I came away from the game with the impression the refs let them play. It might not be a good example, but I saw it akin to two basketball teams with strong front courts banging it out under the boards.

I've heard a few LSU fans complain about getting seven flags versus our one. But, when I ask them what they thought about getting 13 against A&M the week before in a win they've walked away.

I wonder why...

me too. in fact, i said to my father during the game, "well damn, i guess they (refs) have decided to let them (OL and DL) play tonight!" haha

i admit, LSU is physical and Copeland is certainly a beast, particularly as a blocker. but i was just shocked at the number of instances of egregious holding at the point of attack, whether it be a LSU running play or a Bama pass rusher closing in on Mettenberger.

There was only one non call that shocked me. The play was flagged, but not for the what I saw.

When Copeland was charged with the unsportsmanlike conduct flag I saw him chop block Pagan a few seconds before he took out Belue. When they said there was a flag on the play, I thought it was on him for the Pagan incident.

He got away with one, then added another. The kid was just out of control on that play.

definitely! when they replayed that play to identify the foul i cringed at his chop block. i didn't know it was Pagan, but it looked bad leading with his helmet.
