šŸ“” "I honestly don’t remember the last time I seen the OL look this good first game of the season."

I thought the line played very well, but a QB with a quick release helps a bunch.
There certainly were some of the early season issues everyone should expect.

There were a few times they were confused; lack of communicating with each other on assigments. The question I have today centers around something I mentioned in the pre-game thread: Manny Diaz. I knew he'd be throwing the "kitchen sink" at that offensive line and he did. I'm coming away with the opinion it was communication aided, largely, by Diaz and his defensive scheme.

The same "Diaz" comment comes in to a few of the plays where guys simply missed assignments: both on the OL and on the TE's.

It's a little funny but oh so predictable. "Bama's starting a new center." As I recall Dalcourt did well with the exception on one snap. "Neal is the next LT taken in the first round for Bama." There's a few plays he just blew yesterday. After spending a lot of the fall running at RT, Randolph was back at TE with Owens taking the RT slot. How long that does that last?

That said it was week one and the Bama OL looked better than a lot of the other top teams in the nation: much better than two in yesterday's top five.
