Deep Hamburger Sausage & Pepperoni Pie - this is a pizza lover's dream!

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 cup Italian sausage, crumbled
1 cup pepperoni slices
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup marinara sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 package (2.5 oz) refrigerated pizza crust (or homemade dough)

Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a deep-dish pie pan or pizza pan with cooking spray or olive oil.

Cook the Meats:
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper to the skillet, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Prepare the Pizza Crust:
Roll out the refrigerated pizza crust on a floured surface to fit the size of your pan. Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides of the pan, ensuring an even thickness.

Assemble the Pie:
Spread half of the marinara sauce over the crust. Layer the cooked meat mixture evenly over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, then add the remaining marinara sauce.

Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, and the crust is cooked through.

Serve:
Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy your hearty Deep Hamburger Sausage & Pepperoni Pie!

I got this to make it for our grandson. He can eat pizza 24/7 if he could. I hope I didn't get it fromhere, most of the time I put the poster name with what I save on here.

Rick your post made me want a Chicago deep dish so I tried this recipe

Changed the toppings to bacon, soppressata, Italian sausage, onions, and peppers. It was good
That's a good idea.

By the way, @TerryP I use King Arthur Pizza 00 Flour. My sister got it and didn't want after she gotten it.
I had a couple of slices last month. I may be done for the year. I like the idea and have been leaning on trying a breakfast pie. It's been a few years.

Johnny Marzetti:

Melt 3 tablespoons of margarine in a large frying pan that has a lid. You will need the lid later.
Add 1-2 chopped onions and 1 cup of chopped celery. (I don't like celery so I leave it out)
Add 1 1/2-2 pounds of ground chuck. Chop and saute' until the meat is browned. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper.
Add a large can of petite diced tomatoes, 14-16 oz.
Add 1 regular can of tomato soup.
Add 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Cover with lid and simmer for approximately 30 minutes.
Cook 8 oz of wide noodles until tender. Drain and combine the noodles with the meat mixture. Pour into a greased (Pam) 9x13 dish and sprinkle the top with shredded mild cheddar cheese. (Mozzarella if you prefer)
Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes.

Enjoy!

I liked it. Don't really care for pepperoni due to the grease.
Excessive. That's my issue. I'll buy a log but I dice.
That's why I like pepperoni.
Just like your burgers at BWW: it's a grease thing. No criticism.

In my opinion...and here goes for all you freaks.

Diced pepperoni is best on a salad. And after that it is an after thought.

@rick4bama Ground Sirloin is cheaper at Publix than Ground Beef or Chuck. I just looked.

Now. I don't buy mine from Publix. I get it from the meat market...same thing applies.

Listen. Go to the store and grab a boneless top sirloin. If you have a food processor, grind it to bits at the house. If not. ask the the guys that work there.

Make a hamburger. Your way sucks compared to mine, I'm sure. But we'll set that aside. Cook it the way you want.

A HUGE difference. And, it's the same cost.

One pound of ground sirloin, a pack of Lipton's Onion Soup mixed, fried in a cast iron skillet with a little butter to start...on Texas toast with ...
