🏈 I hate Charter Internet

Down for 4 straight weekends and they said they would come out on Tuesday to replace the router. Looks like I will have to drive somewhere to upload pictures :elephant:

Charter is the worst. I had a bad connector at the street module (which they did of course) - it wasn't done properly to begin with and finally broke loose. Had them come back out and they made it worse. Wonderful cable company.:lance:

i get random charter blackouts

phone and internet wise, honestly charter as being "unreliable" is an understatement

what i am afraid of is a cable black;out on a saturday. but well, i think they are afraid of what would happen to them if that happens too

Can you get sprint 3G/4G coverage? The wireless hotspot might be an option think it's called overdrive or something. They are sharing clear's 4G system....damn fast and about the same price - gives you roaming option too.

I had their trash 10 mb for about a year. It went out every single night at around 10 PM when it was "cold" outside. I called and they came out multiple times, and they never could "fix" the problem. Finally made a switch and it was a great decision. Charter is probably the worst internet provider in the country, there can't be any worse lol.

who did you go with? I have an ipad at home and it doesnt have a strong signal with for 3g connection

I have charter internet & have no problems at all. Still can't wait to switch to U-verse whenever it becomes available here, however.

Where I live, Northeast Alabama, Farmers Telephone Cooperative has dsl service. Same price as my 10 mb Charter, but much better reliability so far.

I'm thinking you're not alone in your Charter hate. I've never heard anyone that's been real happy with them. The people I know usually don't have any other choice though.

I dumped them for DirectTV three years ago, and have had no regrets.

If U-Verse gets to my neighborhood I'll have to check them out, though.
