Yup it was one of their O lineman getting beat up front.

Also one might get ejected for targeting. Although I disagree with the penalty. Wasn't helmet to helmet but he did target a defenseless player. Sumlin is challenging the call right now.

See, I don't get how that is "targeting". From a defensive players perspective, he still sees the WR trying to make a catch and is trying to dislodge it. Sure he didn't complete the catch, but the defender was just trying to finish the play, and also had momentum going into the receiver. These penalties are driving me insane.

I don't think he deserved to be ejected but I do think it was a flagrant hit. The ball was tipped in front of the defender so he knew it was a dead ball right then yet he chose to follow thru with the hit when the receiver knew the play was dead. I think that was the issue that got him kicked. This rule is so gray and its going to cause a lot of heartburn this season.

He got ejected. Since it was 4th quarter he will have to sit out the first quarter next weekend. This was one of the players that was already suspended the first half of this game for off season issues.
