A&M's defense needs to be the story line of this game. Yeah, suspended players, but what does that say about their depth? They can have a good starting 11, but when your 2's come in, they're going to be exposed.

I've always cut A&M a lot of slack due to the Bryant and Stallings connection. But seeing them firsthand with their antics and chest-thumping over their so-called 'honor code" (um 6 players suspended for drug use?), I'm starting to realize what some of their detractors told us: they are just another auburn....

That was exactly what I was thinking earlier. You can only hide depth problems for so long. Sure, the suspended guys will be back for Bama. But these kids that are getting shredded by Rice will have to play a lot too.

These announcers are worse than Gary Danielson when he was calling a UF game while Tebow was the QB! Since Johnny Halftime has been in the game, he has really helped tamu build its lead (so has the other QB...), so I guess the going rate for an autograph is skyrocketing. Maybe they're trying for a discount.

I don't know man. That defense of theirs is pretty horrific. Speaks volumes about their depth, or lack thereof. If these are the guys they intend to substitute throughout the year then they have bigger problems. Their offense hasn't been impressive but I'd say their D is the biggest blame why Rice is hanging around with them.

Yup it was one of their O lineman getting beat up front.

Also one might get ejected for targeting. Although I disagree with the penalty. Wasn't helmet to helmet but he did target a defenseless player. Sumlin is challenging the call right now.
