It's looking like more than one quarterback will play for Alabama against Clemson in the Sugar Bowl Monday night.
Freshman Tua Tagovailoa is expected to play some, working in conjunction with starter Jalen Hurts, according to sources.
Though Hurts has only lost two games in two years as the Crimson Tide's starting quarterback, and while the sophomore has accounted for 23 touchdowns with just two turnovers, the feeling at Alabama is that Tagovailoa could give the Tide a lift from a passing standpoint.
While Hurts ran for 82 yards against Auburn in the Tide's only loss of the season, he threw for just 112 yards and completed only 12 of his 22 pass attempts.
This would be the first action in a non-FCS game since Oct. 21 for Tagovailoa, who has appeared in seven games. The five-star Hawaii product has thrown for 470 yards with eight touchdowns and just one interception while also running for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

I actually never saw this post before the game but I just saw several people that shared it on Facebook that day (why its now popping up on my timeline is beyond me) and there were a number of people claiming to be insiders saying that they had "known it for weeks." Stuff like this is priceless to me. Someone even claimed Saban confirmed the report to ESPN Radio before the game, which would be Jedi levels of trolling if true.
