🏈 I guess we know who Matt Zenitz's "source" is...

It's looking like more than one quarterback will play for Alabama against Clemson in the Sugar Bowl Monday night.

Freshman Tua Tagovailoa is expected to play some, working in conjunction with starter Jalen Hurts, according to sources.

Though Hurts has only lost two games in two years as the Crimson Tide's starting quarterback, and while the sophomore has accounted for 23 touchdowns with just two turnovers, the feeling at Alabama is that Tagovailoa could give the Tide a lift from a passing standpoint.

While Hurts ran for 82 yards against Auburn in the Tide's only loss of the season, he threw for just 112 yards and completed only 12 of his 22 pass attempts.

This would be the first action in a non-FCS game since Oct. 21 for Tagovailoa, who has appeared in seven games. The five-star Hawaii product has thrown for 470 yards with eight touchdowns and just one interception while also running for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa expected to play in Sugar Bowl

I actually never saw this post before the game but I just saw several people that shared it on Facebook that day (why its now popping up on my timeline is beyond me) and there were a number of people claiming to be insiders saying that they had "known it for weeks." Stuff like this is priceless to me. Someone even claimed Saban confirmed the report to ESPN Radio before the game, which would be Jedi levels of trolling if true.

Who's the source?! I'm confused

A poster on here claimed a few weeks before the game that he had inside information that Tua would 100% be coming in in the second quarter for a few plays and if he did well it would be a 2-QB system from there on. Oddly enough he has since not posted again. That same poster claimed to personally know Zentiz, too.

Saban. The idea is that he let it slip but not officially. Just to get Clemson to prep for both QBs.

Not what I meant lol Im pretty sure that claimed "confirmation" never happened, considering I cant find it anywhere but Facebook.

Isn't this guy Kingpin?

I enjoyed the Kingpin ...must have been Cecil H
Ahh, those TS days.

Funny memory... Years ago, before Chase Goodbread left T-news for the NFL Network, I ended up breaking the Star Jackson leaving story because I was at Bryant Hall on a delivery while Star was packing his shit.

Chase ended up emailing me, took me to lunch, and asked me to be his ears on the ground. I tossed him a couple of breaking scoops here and there.

DDBama took the cake .....my glass always half empty but that guy's glass had no bottom. Bill Broskey is posting on the rant these days as well.

Personally, I miss CrimsonCrazy.
I don't recall him/her on TS.

But, the Star Jackson saga SLO mentioned was off season CFB board HoF material.

I think CrimsonChris and tidal surge are the 2 x posters I miss the most from TS. Bill and Chech were great because I was in a different country and naturally fell in on their early AM old man schedule for BS'ing and coffee... didn't hurt that I'm a bit of an old soul as it is

Good times!!!

He was a poster on here that was mentally unstable as fuck. He threatened to track me down more than once and even went and found my Facebook page.
