🏈 I gotta say, I'm impressed with Cowherd here...

Hate his arrogant ass. But every now and then he makes a good point. Especially when he knows he has been wrong about something. Also, since he normally so anti-Bama he has attracted mostly Bama haters to his show so praising Saban and Bama probably made his phone banks light up while making for an interesting show. It's the old Finebaum trick.

I didn't know people hated college football overtime; I hate the NFL's overtime. What's to hate about how College does overtime?
The way Cowherd defends college overtime isn't something I think we'll find many Bama fans agreeing with. He cites two positions and goes on to say they don't have any bearing on national titles or the regular season. One, kick returners and secondly punters.

How many Bama fans are going to agree with a suggestion Scott hasn't been very instrumental in Bama's success? In '15 we saw a kick returner break open a game that led to a national title.

If there's one complaint I've heard about the college overtime system that I can't argue with is where it starts. I've seen it suggested the offense should have their first possession at the 35 or 40 yard line. I'd agree with the thought I'd rather see the overtime periods begin with the teams outside of field goal position.
