🏈 Howdy guys......Just curious,

If everyone who has been rumored to be on their wish list stood in line the line would be several blocks long.

No chance he goes.

Why don't you start rhe Gruden to Penn State rumor.

Stand down Joe, I got this...

Ha, I heard this crap on a sports show in HSV this morning. Some back writer in Pennsylvania published an article on their version of AL.com with the title "Saban Newest Name in PSU Coaching Rumor Mill". His source? An email from a guy whose relative "donated $$$$$$$$ to make it happen.". They were dicing the guy.

At least some of the other Saban rumors were believable. This is absurd.

I'm thinking of all the coaches that followed legends, and noting how the standards were set too high for anyone to be successful with.

There was a quote, can't recall who said it, but after Coach Bryant's retirement they said something along the lines of "I'd hate to be the Coach that follows Coach Bryant but would love to be the guy who follows THAT guy".

Ray Perkins (Bryant), Frank Solich (Osborne), Ron Zook (Spurrier), Ray Goff (Dooley), "Hunk" Anderson (Rockne), Gomer Jones (Wilkenson)....

Why would CNS walk away from what he has to take on following Joe Pa amid all this mess?

Not that it really needs to be said again but hell im bored so why not.... He isnt going anywhere. He's already proven he can rebuild programs, and hes proven he can turn a team in the dumps into a champion. Now he wants to prove he can win multiple titles at one school and build the dynasty. Besides, he has said he doesnt want to coach into his late 60s so I dont see him going to another school just to build them up and then retire. He's ours until he retires.

Just to play devils advocate though- even if he were to leave, he has already done everything we wanted him to do: 1) turn the program around; 2) win a title; 3) put us in a position to win more titles; 4) and have the program be the face of college football so that we can hand pick any coach to replace him.
