🏈 How to embed youtube videos to start at specific times

thought some of you might find this useful.

using the last game as an example - if you wanted to start a video at a specific time, you can use two different options, either by seconds or by minutes & seconds.

append the following to the end of the URL (#t=56m42s or #t=3400s)

youtube.com/watch?v=kVuqqrW5DPk#t=3400s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVuqqrW5DPk#t=3400s

youtube.com/watch?v=kVuqqrW5DPk#t=56m42s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVuqqrW5DPk#t=56m42s

FWIW, youtube gives you two options for sharing video.

If you hit share on the screen they'll give you a link. It works the same as the url in your browser. We have an auto-converter built into the software that automatically posts it as a video like you see above and not just a link like you'll find on some other software packages. This option works with a few other video sites as well.

Of course the embed option they give you works as well. On other sites, if you happened to see "share" or "code" those will work by simply pasting them as well.

If that doesn't work, just email me...I'll just snag the video. :wink-new: No. Don't. I'll end up spending too much time creating new video databases and not get things done I've been meaning to for months and still haven't. Email Matt instead.
