I heard a survey and interviews on NPR with the following question:
How often are you wrong?
Most people answered the obligatory "well, I guess it happens sometimes". A lot of people believed they were rarely ever wrong. Some insisted that it was a hard question to answer because it had to be put in context, but the survey wanted a general, everyday response.
For myself, I'd say "most of the damn time". I have guessed horribly at everything from whether to get married, to which job to take, to which stock to buy and then when to sell. I suck at decisions that are small and take no time to decide, and I equally suck at questions that require significant time and carry a lot of weight.
I concede that I am a proverbial loser, and quite frankly, it's liberating admitting as such. I am entirely a delusion of a delusion.
So, anyone else care to answer "how often are you wrong?"
