Mine don't know who we are playing half the time but she knows when we do something good and she never shuts up when we lose.

This should get interesting since all the Utes have a minimum of 6 wives each. Who has more wives the Utes or BYU ?

my wife knows that she pulls for the crimson tide, and that's enough for me

...although, on the other hand, she does'nt know that when they are talking about bama on t.v., not to ask me what i want for supper.

thank goodness for TiVo :D

Remember, BYU is the holier-than-thou Mormon school. Utah is where the rest of us drunk heretics went. :)

Now that's funny right there I don't care who ya are.

My wife will watch a good bit of a Bama game, and will even watch portions of other games. She used to hate football and wanted nothing to do with it - until our boys started playing. Son number one was a safety, KO/Punt returner and WR, so he was easy to spot on the field. Son number two (junior in HS) has been a fullback and LB/safety over his seven years of playing, so he's been in the scrum a bit more and her blood sport instincts have kicked in. Son number three (now ten) plays QB and safety.

Our high school coaches put on a one day clinic each year for the Mom's auxiliary of our booster club. It's pretty informational. Some of the moms (not my wife) attend the weekly film breakdown the varsity coaches put on for the dads at our local restaurant sponsors. Personally, I've learned more about breaking down film over the last two years than I have over my whole life.

RTR,

Tim

My wife is into football almost as much as I am. She understands why we call certain plays in certain situations. She understands a penalty flag before the ref calls it (most of the time). She knows the roster. She hates anything orange. She watches re-runs of old games with me. She is hook, line and sinker with Alabama football. She bleeds Crimson just like the rest of us. a$#

SkinyUte you are a hoot. Bringum Young University has a saying. They don't care if you Bring um as long as you Bringum young.

Please Please bring Marie Osmond to Nawlins. Me and my tooth will carry yawls luggage for free.

My lovely wife of 38 years has always pulled for BAMA until her Nephew started playing for Jawja. This years blackout game almost caused my kitchen pass getting revoked.

Still it was a great time in Athens and she still pulls for the Tide until we play "Jawja agin". (Luckily several years away). He will be graduated by then. :D

My wife was a huge fan when I met her but she didnt know anything about football.

She was very interested for me to teach her the X's and O's. Now she knows a ton about schemes and will often time really surprise me when they are on offense and she yells at the TV that the defense is bringing a blitz even when its disguised pretty well.

I am very proud of her progression. Now if I could only get her to come over from the darkside. Iron Bowl weekend is bad at my house.

Think I have it worse, my gf is a LSU fan but she cheers for bama when they arent playing lsu. Yet this year she actually wanted bama to win bc she knew it meant so much to me:)

Just wait until she gets that ring all the way around your finger and nose. She is just waiting for the right romantic moment to tell you about Charlie McClendon the winningest coach in LSU history.

You can remind her that he played for the Bear when he was at Kentucky for a comeback.

Isn't love great. :D

My wife loves it almost as much as I do. On the Saturdays that I have to work, she buys pizza and sits at home watching nothing but football.

Dude, this is my Wife as well. If it weren't for the fact that she birthed my (or at least some dude who apparently looks a lot like me) kids, I would say that I have a man crush on her.

How much does your wife know about football.

My wife of 40 years grew up about a block from Denny Stadium. Her dad went out for the team, as a walk-on, in the 30's for Coach Frank Thomas. She knows a lot about the game for a person who never played a down of football herself. She loves football, basketball, and baseball. We have a great picture of the "Rocket Eight" basketball team, coached by Johnny Dee. Crimson & White run pretty deep in our family.

My wife and I have been together for 10 years. (Most prison sentences don't last that long) In those 10 years, I've never ever want to watch tv until football season, yet for some reason come football season she thinks that's going to change.

My wife doesn't know a thing about football, but bygod can recall what I was wearing the night we might and I have no ***king clue what I was wearing. When it comes to football she does not have a clue, yet she is willing to watch some dumbass TV show called the HILLS, which I looked up and it turns out to be a fake reality TV show. WTF is that?

Solution is I got 2 LCD's one for my room and one for the living room woot!

My wife of one year knows Oklahoma football (she was born and raised in Norman and her entire family lives there) but she's starting to come around. She has stopped complaining when I have turned a OU game to watch Bama.

She gets annoyed with me and all the x's and o's because thats all I talk about (I'm a WR/RB coach for a HS team).

Hopefully I can get her to come all the way around and then I don't have to see or hear anything OU.
