🏈 How many wins will Tennessee have this season?

There's a two word descriptor of the offense that both App St run and what Heupel is running at UT. The full name escapes me at the moment: variation of __ spread offense or it's a spread ___ offense.

Point being: both offenses are a lot alike.

I don't see it anywhere close to "out of the question" to look at week three and also see UGA's first L of the season: Sat afternoon in Knoxville? And, UT still finishing behind UGA in the SEC.
I'm not that familiar with what app st runs offensively, but every time I would watch them they were extremely efficient at moving the ball. Very balanced with how they did it as well. Need to watch some more film on them.

I want to say "wide spread" but that may be a left over effect from Tim's "Panic" hat.

No doubt about this word: multiple.

It's unfortunate you find a lot of Bama fans, but not football fans, on forums like this one. They seldom would consider watching ASU play: but they are fun to watch.

@Scrape&Search1032 While building this years pick 'em games one of the teams that are "active" is App St. I can't tell you off the top of my head against whom...I do know they are on a SEC schools OOC schedule this year.
I just took a look at their schedule, they don't play a SEC school this season. However they do play Boise State and Oregon State this season. I could see them winning at least one of those games(more likely Oregon State).

Exactly. I shooting for zero. I know it’s unrealistic but one can dream. 😝
IF that kid clicks with their system—and I still haven't found out where he doesn't—I'll put UT at 10-2 (but not in ATL.) Losses in Tuscaloosa and Gainesville (something I can't shake about UF waking up in the middle of the season.)

Hasn't been with team, skipping workouts and meetings. Won't answer calls from coaches.
That's what I meant by seeing the 'blurbs.' I've seen several headlines saying that. I looked deep enough to find Tony Basilio's name associated with the story gaining legs and that's when I stopped. One of the reasons I stopped looking is because I knew the media would use Nico's story as part of its "prop." It's not omniscient. I know the story isn't fodder as well as I know the reporting on it likely is full of fodder.

...

I posted a meme about fall practice in another thread. It starts next week for all SEC teams on the 29th and everyone will be practicing by August 1st. That also means we'll see the coaches with their first press conferences leading into fall camp. My thought is we should get something next week. (I think Heupel's presser is on the 29th.)
