"By whom". Would be #s coming out of sec media days.Based on reading here that would lead to this as well, "by whom?"
In my view that is more of a reaction to Venables (while discounting the injuries last year) than it is on the talent in Norman. They have more blue chippers than half of the SEC this fall.
It IS a legit question, "What will Venables do with this squad?"
Means absolutely nothing on either team. And he sure hasn't proven himself as a great HC .... i know bama game.
When your roster gets hit by a train, then ran over by a semi carrying gas...it adds up to OU 2024.Doesn't add up to haven't more or mediocre talent with unproven coaching and throwing in lsst 2 months of schedule.
that means nothing when u have navigated @ lsu.Means absolutely nothing on either team.

Lost me. No idea what LSU has to do with this.that means nothing when u have navigated @ lsu.
You need to explain this one. Are you talking about playing Alabama and then go and lose at )LSU following week?that means nothing when u have navigated @ lsu.
Im curious to see the data on QB transferring into SEC from different conference and actually play well? Playing against SEC defense is different than playing in ACC or PAC conference.![]()
USA TODAY Sports writer picks Oklahoma to win SEC
National college football writer from USA TODAY Sports believes the Oklahoma Sooners will win the SEC in 2025.soonerswire.usatoday.com
That would take awhile. We've seen guys like Burrow, Milton, and Coker. An interesting look would be SEC to SEC: Johnson and Vandagriff come to mind.Im curious to see the data on QB transferring into SEC from different conference and actually play well?
Meant ....same roster was hit vs lsu. ...n uga...Lost me. No idea what LSU has to do with this.
I think you and Terry are heading in different paths in terms of this conversation.Meant ....same roster was hit vs lsu. ...n uga...
Cant say it was roster hit vs ok....and not recognizing same roster vs those others..

I think he was talking about Oklahoma depth in last few weeks, not Alabama.
But I want to point out something
Oklahoma injuries at WR took a major hit last season and they literally had nobody. Their offense was disaster the last few weeks .
Missouri 23-20
Alabama 24
LSU 17
It was a train wreck on the offensive side. Their defense wasn't bad at all.
Now if we're talking about Alabama....
We had three players out. All are done for season. Oklahoma had 11 players!!!!!! Out for that game.
It doesn't matter what happened before that game... One game at a time. We were not ready. We were not locked in.. players and coaches. They didn't take sooners seriously like they didn't with vandy.

Maybe I'm in mood to argue with people today but what I'm telling you... You have to stop looking at this with narrow perspective.Yep. Maybe we were.
No. Face it...our QB wasn't near ready. ....maybe whole O. But definitely JM.
We're talking about OU wins this season. The point is you can't take last year and use it as any form of template for this season and how that team will play. There were FAR too many injuries at OU to get any sort of clear picture on the offense.Meant ....same roster was hit vs lsu. ...n uga...
