šŸˆ How many bowl games will we see this season?

The album, The Wall, came out in 1979: Roger Waters and David Gilmore. You mentioned getting a rise; "Comfortably Numb" afternoon was referencing a song. All these games and you say nothing to watch. The "13 channels of shit..." is a lyric that came off the same album; "Nobody's Home" was the song.

The group, Pink Floyd.

Five or six years ago Forbes had a reported on the games being played and at that time the number was in the mid-30's. At that time it was well documented that at least 10, and as many as 20, schools lost money by attending those games.

There are about 10 more games now; 44 I believe was the original number back in January. It's safe to say a quarter of the games scheduled would have cost teams to attend. With COVID comes another obstacle.

I think 90% is high. What percentage of games have been canceled versus scheduled so far this season? When we start talking about a school making some money on this trip—and we know how much these athletic departments need the money—it leads me to think there's going to be a lot of motivation by athletic directors driven towards their coaching staffs: get it done.

(How many of these games were scheduled to be televised by ESPN? Is this another situation where we'll read about a "get woke, go broke" moment for their leadership?)

With the Sun Bowl cancelled (CBS) all but three and two of those by ESPN parent, ABC. So that leaves one non ABC/ESPN.
