🏈 How is the Tide's retooled secondary doing, Robert Lester? (video)

It's amazing how far Lester has come since his arrival on campus. I remember the stigma he had to carry around that he was just a "package deal" with Julio. This fall he'll be our most experienced defensive player on the field.

I've been out of the loop during Spring Practice...how are our new JUCO CB's doing? And who is getting most of the reps with the 1's at the safety opposite Lester?

Vinnie looks to be opposite of Lester but he's also getting looks at the Money position if I recall correctly. We've had a mixture of groups when we've gone with four, five, and six defensive backs.

Deion Belue is going to be a player. I see him in a starting role opposite DM. Dixon is taking a little longer to learn the system.

When I watched practice during the clinic, Belue was running with the 1's opposite Milliner.Lester had Sunseri by his side, but both had young shadows right behind them; Ha Ha, Perry, Williams, Fulton and Dixon all working with them.
