🏈 how is lacy doing?

any word on lacy's progress this fall? he just might give every one a run for some snaps..

Based on what I've read, people love his athleticism, and some even say he's just as good as Richardson at this point.

It's quite plausible that 3rd RB spot behind Ingram and Upchurch comes down to the two highly-touted true freshmen.

I've heard the same. Athletic and very quick on shooting throuhg the line. Sounds a little bit like Grant, but maybe a little better.

I'm hoping that if Lacey can't really get a lot of PT on offense, that they might have him and/or Richardson back on kickoffs with Arenas.

Physically, I think he is ready to contribute to some degree. The question will be can he prove that he can get out there and limit mistakes (not fumble, know his assignments, etc.) and make the most of the carries he gets. If he gets in a game and gets hot, Saban will let him ride, but it is a week to week thing with Saban... especially for those younger backs.

Fixed that

Think Ingram said that you must know what is going on every play and perform to get playing time.(not exactly what he said but I am just having my first cup of joe, so brain is not functioning properly)

I said blocker because that seems to be the hardest thing for new backs. Learning to pick up the blitz etc out of different formations.
