is he the product of a solid rushing attack from a balanced team or does this kid really have the stuff?
i am starting to become a believer.. low center of gravity and great lower body strength gives him leverage.. he is very elusive in open field and in traffic.. he can break tackles (he has some serious guns).. he deffinately has break away speed like in the kentucky game when he broke the long run (i don't think i have ever seen that gear)
i have not seen him drop a pass, and he deffinatley knows what to do after the catch..
he has really stepped up as a leader.. i always see him on the sidelines in the ear of other players keeping them up.. he also put richardson under his wing much like coffee did for him last year..
all of this and he's a true sophmore..
i am beginning to think that we have a really special player here.. i'm sure having a father that played in the NFL gave him confidence at an early age.. he deffinately believes in his abilities.. his improvement from last year was ten fold.. if he improves as much next year he will be unbelievable..
so what do you guys think? are we looking at shaun alexander type of talent? is ingram the next emmit smith or barry sanders? does he have heisman written in his future? or maybe NFL MVP?
i think he is the real deal.. maybe even a little below the radar.. ranked 17th at his position out of highschool, 6th in his state.. he could have been a top ten type recruit..
