- I know we can't win them all - but we go through this charade with them almost every year
- I just don't get all of the love for OM - or especially the fear of OM - where is this coming from?
- We have playmakers at every single skill position on "O" - which includes at least one true Gamebreaker
- Not many teams have a Gamebreaker - they sure don't!
- We have an O-Cordinator who knows what he's doing, takes advantages of match-ups, and gets the ball in our playmakers hands....with LK calling the plays, I'm not worried about the offense at all....
- True - they are apparently better on D than in years past...but what does that really mean??? How much better are they??? Will we not be able to run it, throw it, or do anything???
- If we do what we do well - we'll be fine. Besides, I expect we'll show several things we haven't shown thus far. Other teams aren't the only ones who prepare for big games - I think our coach has a pretty good track record of getting his teams prepared to play too.
- They have a few match-ups on O that concern me a bit against our secondary - but I just don't think they will consistently beat our D. They'll make some plays - but we'll get our share of stops.
- Limit our penalties - no crucial turnovers - and stay away from catastrophic special teams blunders (blocks, returns, etc..)- that's a recipe that will make us really tough to beat - I don't care who we're playing
- Another very important note - OM has no where near the talented depth we have
- On emotion and motivation - and, a fairly talented starting 11 on D, they keep it close initially - however, eventually - big plays, talented depth, and superior coaching win out - similar to the 3rd-4th qtrs of the UF game
- I will say this - we will need to match their intensity and we'll need to be physical because they are going to be physical - maybe even get a couple of cheap shots from them - but i still think we wear them down when it's all said and done.
- At some point - we'll lose a game to OM as we won't win 100 in a row - but I don't see it being this year
