🏈 Houndstooth Wedding Cake....sort of

I don't know if you guys have seen this or not but I thought it was pretty funny on all accounts.

Groom (Bama fan) requested a houndstooth wedding cake. Bride's parents (Auburn fans) grudgingly obliged, with one catch....

It's funny and pretty clever, but not really fair since it looks like a groom's cake instead of a wedding cake...supposed to be groom's choice (at least that's what we did at our wedding). Gotta give them credit for ingenuity though.

My cake (groom cake) was a script A and it was a spice cake. It actually tasted very good as opposed to most wedding cakes that are pretty but taste like cardboard.

Yeah, it was the groom's cake--forgive the typo. The cake itself (yes, wrong shades but you get the idea!) was just a dig. I sincerely hope they had a good relationship and knew he would respond well. Most people would hit the roof
