šŸˆ Hoover punter Tuck Borie set to join Alabama as walk-on

How long is the commitment to the Air Force after graduation? Six years? That's a commit a lot of kids today have a hard time making. If walking on won't be a hardship to him, then good luck.

Yeah, it is certainly different than a normal "commitment". I don't know if it is 6 or 8 year (or maybe something else), but it is something along those lines. Probably easy to look up, I'm just short on time.

Without reading the article, I can say with much confidence this young man has his grades in order and is a top notch citizen.

no doubt. The scholarship that every cadet receives upon accepting an appointment to USAFA is worth over $415,000. This amount includes the costs required for cadet monthly pay, tuition, books, room and board, food, summer program, flying programs, dorm cleaning services and operation and management of all the cadet area facilities.

Can a player be on academic scholarship and play football, thereby forgoing athletic money, and still be technically "on scholarship"?

"On scholarship" would refer to an athletic scholarship if Im not mistaken. He can still get his academic scholarship and play football with no problems tho as long as his grades dont slip causing him to lose his scholarship.

Regardless gonna be a freshman punting next year, either he or JK Scott... ouch. What the hell happened to Jay Williams?
