If you haven't happened to notice, UCONN fired its head coach, Paul Pasqualoni, after starting 0-4. (In the AAC there are three teams that have started this season without a win. If anything, that should dispel the myth the ACC deserves a place at the "playoff table.")
Pasqualoni joins Kiffin as the only two BCS AQ head coaches who have been fired in September.
On what I call an interesting note, up until this weekend there were two other coaches that had been fired very early in the seasonāin this case example after their sixth game: Tommy and Terry Bowden.
Setting aside Chizik jokes (if at all possible,) when you look around the collegiate football landscape over the last decade and a half who do you consider to be awful hires by BCS school administrations?
And while we're talking about bad decisions by school administrators, who do you think made a mistake by firing their head coach to quickly?
