Hey gang, for those getting in late and wanting info regarding the fundraiser we're doing for the troops just make sure you check out our Military Vets Forum. I have a thread stickied at the top and the initial post tells you everything you need to know.
Currently we have raised about $240-$250 in only the few days we've done this. I will get an exact figure once I speak with my wife.
We have boxes that came in the mail today so I suspect it's things that my wife has ordered off eBay for the troops. She's been getting deals like 36 travel-sized shaving kits for $5. Other pretty good deals like that. We'll be going to purchase goods tomarrow at the base.
We'll take pictures and post them here once we get ready to ship out.
Anyone interested in writing a letter please feel free. These are greatly appreciated by the troops from what I understand. Remember, we have one troop by the name of Armstrong in one unit, plus another unit (a full field unit) 1st platoon Delta. My mailing addy is in the stickied post. If you choose to send me something via PM that is fine too. I will mail it out with the shipment.
Also, I mentioned and I am not sure if people saw this or not, but my wife has a forum she frequents and she's had a couple of ladies send out goods, as well as one lady from eBay that she deals with. So we're getting some help.
Anyway, if you want to keep track of the progress or need to know what to do just check the very top post in the Vets Forum.
