🏈 Hey Alliebama

LOL. They're a little sensitive right now. We went to the fair today and I wore a Bama shirt. Ran into a kid and his mom (and we've known these people for years, just not friends with them) and she said she couldn't believe I was wearing a Bama shirt. I said I always wear Bama shirts and she made some comment about they almost didn't... that's all I caught. I don't know exactly what she said, but I chose to ignore it. I guess I'm supposed to go buy all new shirts so I don't offend them or something. Good chance I'd have worn that same shirt even if we'd lost yesterday. Don't understand why people think that just because I live here I have to be a hog fan.

We are still sensitive. I'm sure not over it. Plus we have to deal with it for two weeks because of the bye.

I live in Texarkana, AR (twin city to Texarkana, TX) so we are used to other team's fans being around. Especially those blasted, whiney, Longhorn fans.

I've been wearing this stuff around her for 7 years so it's not like I just started doing it to hurt someone's feelings. I shouldn't have to change my wardrobe because she doesn't like it. At this point, my t-shirts are pretty much Bama or the company that laid me off last year. I prefer not to promote their products so I wear my Bama shirts.

At least they won't be gloating this week...or they shouldn't be after losing to UCLA.

I grumbled when I saw an "Alabama" (the band) CD at Target today. LOL! - so I understand being bitter about the game.

I'm sorry someone treated you like that though. Some folk just don't know how to act no matter where they are from.

As for Texas fans. No they aren't gloating, but it sure hasn't stopped the whining. "We are just a second-tier team now, wah, wah, wah, wah, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah."

LOL. Yet they played for the NC last year. Wow, they fell fast.

I have a good friend who is a big time Longhorn fan. He thinks the team got complacent with McCoy and Shipley being the play makers for the last three years and now no one has stepped up. He thinks that their D is ok, just on the field too much.

I bet you that UCLA looked at the NC game from last year and looked at the success we had running on them from the pistol. UCLA shredded them for 270+ yards on the ground. It looked alot like NC game to me. UT will struggle this year to establish the power running game that Brown wants. You have to recruit those guys into your system.

and a whopping 27 yds of passing :)

My friend's son (who is a hog fan) said about the hogs: "They're like an energy drink. Really energetic at first, slow in the middle, and then they crash" LOL. Out of the mouths of babes. I told him I was totally stealing that.
